Our Story

Where it all began...

Grady and I met the Summer of 2010. My roommate Annie and I decided to throw a popsicle party at our house to get everyone together for the first party of the summer. My other roommate had known Grady for a while and invited him and his friends over. I knew that Grady had been dating a friend of mine at the end of the school year but I didn't know anything else. When we first met I automatically thought Grady was very cute, but I knew he was still somewhat dating my friend and he had a shaved head, which was, and is still, very unappealing to me. It turns out that Grady and his friends ended up coming to our house almost every day after that. After hanging out within the group for a while, Grady asked me to go on a date and I was very excited. 

We went on our first date to El Sol, this cute Mexican restaurant, and clicked ever since. We didn’t start dating until a couple months after that because we were both still dating around and I was absolutely scared that my friend was going to kill me. After finding out that my friend didn’t hate me and had moved on, Grady and I decided to be boyfriend/girlfriend. We continually dated for the next year until I had a momentarily lapse of judgment and broke up with Grady for a month or so. After seeing that I never wanted to let this darling boy go again, we got back together and have been ever since.
